😮‍💨 Here goes...
What started as a Saturday night side hustle in our bakery unit snowballed into an institution. But all good things must inevitably come to an end.

This has been the most amazing, stressful, soul igniting and meaningful chapter of our lives so far - but now we're ready to start the next one. All 3 of us (Alex, Elle and the V-EDGE bun in the oven) 🫡.
To say we've given our lives to this business would be an understatement, and it's almost pointless trying to put into words how difficult of a decision it is to let go, but we have a hell of a next chapter coming to us.

Now, this doesn't mean you won't find us popping up when you least expect it. We're working on that, so please stick around 🫡.

That being said, it really just warrants the biggest, most heartfelt thank you to you all. Because of your support we've built our dream, we got to have 3.5 amazing years, we got to have a job that allowed us to spend unlimited time with Cookie in her last months, and we have the option to bring our legendary scran to you in a different capacity eventually (assuming life allows it 🤣).That's all you. Thank you will never be enough.

We hope its clear to see how hard this is for us, and how sad we are to tell you this. We know what crap news it is for so many of you, and we are definitely not closing due to lack of business - you keep us so busy! 🥵 We just need to focus on our new family and actually give ourselves a life beyond these walls, we know you'll understand 🤝.

We will be closed from now until Tues 25th, with our final day of trading on Saturday 29th March. More info to follow.

Unfortunately, we will be open from 5pm only tomorrow (Saturday 15th) and closed Sunday 16th.
That means no brunch this week 😢.

Elle's been floored with the migraine from hell for a couple of days now and a one man kitchen just isn't doable, so we will be focusing all of our energy on looking after you with a full menu on Saturday pm 🫡

Well that was wild.

Not gunna lie I've fully done a cry and felt like George Bailey at the end of It's a Wonderful Life.

This has been the most emotionally high and low year of our lives, but the fact there's a constant support from you lot is everything 🥺🫶.

I married my best friend and lost my other the week before. We've said goodbye to our first home and 2025 we'll start again in our new home. We've had record highs and lows in the business, and crazy conditions to operate in. We're now where we should be, cocktail in hand at and ready to go back to our garland on a set of boxes in the house we're about to move out of 🤣.

So Merry Christmas, and here's to remembering what matters 🍻.

🔴 CHRISTMAS COCKTAIL MENU LAUNCHING DECEMBER 4TH 🔴

This will be our only cocktail menu throughout the month of December. 10 limited edition, Christmas themed drinks consisting of a few V-EDGE classics and some over the top festive newbies (looking at you, sticky toffee thot chocolate 🫶). You have 3 weeks to get your hands on these - then they're back in the metaphorical loft with the other forgotten decorations 🥲.

These look and taste friggin OUTRAGEOUS. I know Santa shouldn't stroke his own sack, but we've outdone ourselves this year.

Whilst we're still confirming other dates in December, we've had a lot (A LOT) of people asking if we're open on Christmas Eve. We are (kind of). The restaurant is CLOSED, but we're bringing you our CHRISTMAS EVE BAKE SHOP instead 🥳✨️🎅

We're making more stock than ever before (including a million brownie puds). There'll be little cookie bags for the big man himself, there'll be a LOT of goods in the case, there'll also hopefully be some big surprises for you lot!

We swirl ACTUAL brown sugar Cinnamon butter into our mix, drench it in vanilla bean frosting and then add a healthy little sprinkle of cinnamon sugar 🤌

A personal fave, and well worth messing up the grill for 🤤
