Hello everyone!
Yesterday we received the sad news that Creative Fenland was closing.
But today, I have been contacted to say that this is temporary... and that Funding has been secured to continue the great work!!! π₯³π₯³π₯³β¨β¨
Creative Fenland will update with details soon, in the meantime please hold this thought and keep an eye on their socials.
From my end I am so very pleased to know that we are not losing this organisation and that the good work is not coming to an end.
Please reach out if you have any questions, I can help channel your concerns.
Thank you, Karen Avilez

It is with deep sadness that I share the devastating news that Heather, from Heather's Hedgehog Hostel is no longer with us.
Earlier this year Heather and Pico π¦ came to see the Fen Boxes exhibition, where some boxes were made about her charity and her work. Heather's impact in local wildlife and conservation has made a difference in our community.
I am grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting Heather.

Yesterday was my last day at the Community Hub in 39 Broad St. And I spent my day as a learner during Linda Blissett - Bliss Studio Textiles 's hand weaving beginner's workshop with a group of friends. We had a fantastic time together, chatting, laughing while learning something new.
Please check Linda's pages and learn about her stunning work, we were definitely impressed with her textiles!

It's been an absolute pleasure to work with many talented and kind local artists, the community, people from March and Fenland. I hope you have enjoyed your time with me too! I'm sure we'll see each other again π
Huge thanks to Creative Fenland and Cambridge Community Arts for the amazing work they've done and still do for people. Their work is a constant reminder that through art & creativity we build stronger communities.
Last but not least to the wonderful Alan Sieglow for every hour spent at this lovely space - even if it meant painting walls or cleaning windows! Alan was always there to help with smile!
