Presenting a transformational model that positions survivors not as passive victims, but as powerful agents of their futures.

Today, weโre celebrating the woman and vision behind Unbound Programme! โจ
A woman whose passion, determination and commitment to empowering others continue to inspire positive change and create opportunities for women to rebuild, grow and thrive.
Your vision reminds us that a womanโs past should never determine the size of her future. Through your leadership, you continue to turn that belief into meaningful action.
As you step into this new Chapter, we wish you a year filled with happiness, love, success and endless opportunities. May this next chapter bring you everything youโve worked so hard for and more.
Hereโs to the woman behind the vision, the heart behind the mission and the exciting journey ahead! ๐
Happy Birthday, Jillian! Keep shining, inspiring and breaking boundaries! ๐๐

Another successful Gambling Harms Awareness Workshop!
This time, our workshop was trauma-informed and specifically designed for individuals affected by modern slavery, recognising the complex relationship between trauma, exploitation, financial vulnerability and gambling-related harms.
Individuals who have experienced modern slavery may face lasting psychological trauma, financial insecurity and social isolation. For some, gambling can become a coping mechanism for emotional distress, potentially increasing financial vulnerability and the risk of further exploitation.
Our workshop explored these connections through a trauma-informed approach, creating a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations and empower participants with knowledge and practical tools.
A huge thank you to Manchester Community Central for funding these important workshops and enabling us to reach communities that may face additional barriers to accessing support.
At Unbound Programme, we believe that awareness, education and understanding the impact of trauma are essential to breaking cycles of vulnerability and empowering individuals to rebuild their lives.

๐ THANK YOU, WE LOVE MCR! ๐ We Love MCR Charity
We are incredibly grateful to We Love MCR Charityโs Stronger Communities Fund for supporting Unbound Programme CIC and our upcoming 6-week Unbound Connections programme.
For survivors of modern slavery, the journey after exploitation can be incredibly isolating. Loneliness and social isolation can become barriers to recovery, confidence and rebuilding a sense of belonging.
With this funding, weโre creating safe, trauma-informed spaces where survivors can connect, build friendships, strengthen confidence, improve wellbeing and feel part of a community again.
Unbound Connections is about more than bringing people together; itโs about rebuilding connection, belonging and possibility.
Thank you, We Love MCR, for investing in stronger communities and helping us create meaningful opportunities for survivors to reconnect and move forward. ๐
Together, weโre helping reduce loneliness and isolation: one connection at a time. โจ

James was struggling to find work when someone offered him a job with good pay and accommodation. At first, it seemed like a fresh start. Soon, however, his wages were withheld, he was told he owed money for rent and transport, and he was threatened whenever he asked to leave. His phone was monitored, and he felt trapped with no way out.
Modern slavery can affect anyone. Exploitation doesnโt only involve people being brought from overseas. It can happen in construction, car washes, agriculture, hospitality, county lines, and many other settings.
Knowing the signs and raising awareness can help protect people from exploitation. If you suspect someone is being exploited, report your concerns to the appropriate authorities or safeguarding services.
**James is a fictional character, but this scenario reflects patterns seen in real cases.**
