Today’s special - Handmade tortelli filled with DOP Fontina cheese , shaved Abruzzo fresh black truffle.
Smooth spinach purée, emulsified with Domenico Ponzo (Vita /Sicily) olive oil for a silken texture.
Finished with whole and crushed pink peppercorns to provide a subtle, floral spice and textural contrast.

SCHLUTZKRAPFEN
Tyrolean rye dough pasta parcels | spinach | ricotta | chives | brown butter
Schlutzkrapfen, or Ravioli Tirolesi (surely less challenging to pronounce for non German speakers ) is a regional pasta specialty from the Tyrol – an historic region in the Alps that occupies part of northern Italy Alto Adige (South Tyrol) and Western Austria (Tyrol).
Schlutzkrapfen are half moon shaped, resembling mezzelune or pierogi.
Rye flour used in Schlutzkrapfen has delicious fruity flavour and is distinctively higher source of fibre and protein than wheat flour. Rye dough pasta together with spinach and brown butter makes wholesome and moorish dish.

Alex & Hillary Zahel are the 4th generation of winemakers. Since taking the lead, they proudly continue to produce one of Vienna’s most elegant wines. Zahel family also runs Heurigen - a wine tavern serving local food and wine, that should not be a miss when visiting Austria’s capital.
Zahel Weiner, Gemischter Satz is a blend of Gruner Veltliner 45%, Riesling 35%, Zierfandler 20% that are hand selected at the winery and fermented together using natural yeast, 8 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks.
