Our little ones enjoyed a wonderful sensory adventure inspired by We're Going on a Bear Hunt!
Our little explorers crawled, toddled, squished, swished, and discovered their way through a variety of sensory experiences. From swishy-swashy grass and muddy textures to a swirling snowstorm, crunchy woodland treasures, and a dark cave hiding a very special bear, every stage encouraged curiosity, movement, and exploration.
Sensory play helps support babies' physical development, balance, coordination, language skills, and confidence as they investigate the world around them through touch, sight, sound, and movement.
It was lovely to watch the children engage at their own pace, feeling different textures, navigating obstacles, and using their imaginations as they searched for the bear.

We would love for our families to support us by talking about these golden rules at home too. When children receive the same messages from the adults around them, it helps them build confidence and develop positive lifelong habits.

🎶✨ Our little learners absolutely LOVE their weekly visits from Jo Jingles! ✨🎶

Each session is filled with music, movement, laughter and learning as the children explore rhythm, singing, instruments and imaginative play in a fun and engaging way. 🎵🥁

These sessions help to build confidence, communication skills, coordination and social interaction — all while having lots of fun with friends! 💛

We look forward to Jo Jingles every week and seeing the smiles on our children’s faces says it all! 😊

Making a splash in the Red Room! 💦🚜

This week our little learners dived into a world of water and sensory play! From splashing with their favorite animals to exploring new textures, there was so much to discover.

The children worked hard on their fine motor skills by gripping, squeezing, and pouring water—all while following their own creative interests! 🌟

We also brought some of our favorite stories to life in a farm-themed sensory bin, getting hands-on with "squelchy" mud and oats. 🐷🌾

It’s amazing to see how much learning happens through a bit of messy fun!

Today our toddlers will be busy exploring sand play with vehicles and scooping activities, developing their fine motor skills, imagination and teamwork 🚜⛏️

We’ll be practising numbers and shapes through fun hands-on activities, helping to build confidence and early maths skills 🔺🔵🔢

And of course, play dough fun is always a favourite — strengthening little hands while encouraging creativity and self-expression 🌈👐

Every activity is carefully planned to support learning, curiosity and lots of smiles along the way 💛
