How is it nearly the end of 2020 already? This year for me has had so many ups and downs, and I don’t think I’m alone in saying it’s been challenging at times, for everyone for many different reasons, but what I do hope is that it’s brought new light to areas of your life that were previously in the dark and you’re been able to find inner strength to overcome these challenges. I can’t predict what next year will bring, but what I do promise to myself is that I will always be honest, follow what feels right and live by my values. Who’s with me?! Bring on 2021 💪🏻✨ Here’s a roll back project that I designed for 20th event... 20x20 cover and programme design by me. Printed by the amazing talent . Foil by the super shiny friends . And luxurious paper by 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hope everyone is keeping cool in this heatwave and having a beautiful week so far! I thought I'd take this opportunity between projects, to share a little of our branding process.⠀
⠀
We worked with back in 2018 on their brand identity, and it's still one of our favourites! ⠀
⠀
Whether you’re a new business investing in branding for the first time, or a more experienced brand looking for an identity refresh, we'd love to hear from you. ⠀

Towards the end of last year we worked with Award Winning London-based Jewellery Designer who needed a new brand look-and-feel to help bring consistency across online/offline brand touch points.⠀
⠀
Tasked with creating a new bespoke colour palette, complementary font pairings and paper specification, we transformed a once cool, inharmonious palette, into soft warm and welcoming hues. ⠀
⠀
The resulting visual impact presents a more cohesive and timeless look-and-feel that puts the brand’s honesty, quality and dedication to its craft at the forefront. The new website designed by is now live and we think it looks wonderful! ✨✨✨⠀

MORE TREES PLEASE⠀
⠀
In order to tackle the mothership that is Climate Change and engage new minds with the Climate Crisis, , a Sustainable British fashion brand, set out to host an exhibition with artwork aiming to incite conversation and stimulate debate, in a positive way. ⠀
⠀
We designed our artwork around encouraging more tree planting, one simple act that anyone can do, and is one of the most effective strategies at tackling climate change. Not only for providing clean air and water, a source of food and medicine, trees also contribute to soil health, conserve biodiversity and respond to climate change – for the full project details, click 'Work' link in bio.⠀
⠀
We're now thinking of printing a short-run of postcards to help raise money for Covid-19 Emergency Fund charity – If you're interested comment below / send DM x⠀

More Trees Please⠀
⠀
🌳🌳🌳⠀
⠀
Trees are one of the most effective strategies at tackling climate change. They make vital contributions to both people and the planet, providing clean air and water, a source of food and medicine, contributing to soil health, conserving biodiversity and responding to climate change. ⠀
⠀
A recent study I read 'The Global Tree Restoration Potential' shown that our ecosystems could support an additional 0.9 billion hectares of continuous forest, that's an equivalent to planting 500 billion trees. Such change has the ability to cut the atmospheric carbon pool by 25%. ⠀
⠀
This typographic statement has not only been designed to inspire people join in on this important climate crisis movement to plant more trees but the text coverage on the poster takes up 25% demonstrating the powerful impact that trees have on mitigating climate change. ⠀
⠀
🌳 Buy One Get One Tree 🌳 For every tote bag order placed on www.ljbstudio.teemill.com from now until midnight Sunday we will plant a tree. Bags are made from certified organic fabrics and printed in the UK in a renewable energy powered factory. ⠀

💚 The 'More Trees Please' art print was also due to be part of the Climate Change March exhibition run by but like with a lot of events this week because of the Coronavirus and to ensure everyone is safe and healthy, this sadly had to be cancelled. Thank you to Sophie who invited me to take part. I'll be sure to keep you all informed when this important exhibition is rescheduled.⠀

If you're looking for gift ideas this weekend, look no further than ✨ an own-label jewellery and branded Nordic lifestyle collective in Manchester based . ⠀
⠀
We worked with Jenny last year designing her Gift Vouchers and in her own words: ⠀
⠀
"Our gift vouchers have arrived in-store and we couldn’t be happier with how beautiful the finished design is. Printed on the finest papers, and designed locally by the talented Laura of LJB Studio, our aim was to create a personalised premium voucher that made gift-giving a stress-free affair. Laura really captured the essence of Nordic Muse, and our branding, through colour and texture."⠀
⠀
Thank you Jenny!! It was amazing to work with you. ⠀

The lovely Sally & Kim (a digital and illustration agency) got in touch with us to print manage some letterpress business cards for their client. ⠀
⠀
Architectural Design Studio was looking for a business card that could tell a story and bring to life their brand through a sensory experience. ⠀
⠀
The lines, shapes and marks for the new Wattle + Daub brand were the literal fabric of a building, created by Kim and Sally in a contemporary yet crafted way. ⠀
⠀
The final output:⠀
〰️ Blind deboss of the brand pattern (Reverse) ⠀
〰️ Dark Grey deboss of the logo (Front)⠀
〰️ The cards were duplexed in ⠀
〰️ Printed ⠀
⠀
THANK YOU Julie for the lovely feedback ☺️ it was wonderful working with you!⠀

Nice to have some sunshine today on a Friday! ⠀
⠀
Here's a little preview of some recent work we did for Ralph Trustees Ltd, a group of luxury hotels located in and around central London ⠀
⠀
We were asked to design a set of icons to represent their company values: 'Warm & Thoughtful' being one of them; the icon and colour choice brings together a warm and uplifting graphic, created in a contemporary linear style to be in-keeping with their brand. ⠀
⠀
Keep your eyes peeled for more soon 👀 ⠀

Printing on lovely paper stocks like G.F Smith, Winter & Company or Fedrigoni can cost less than some well known online printing shops... you just need to know which papers to choose.
With a decade of experience in working alongside trusted paper mills, printers and finishers, we can help to choose best papers to fit with your brand that have a low environmental impact, request print quotes and manage the full order on your behalf.
And that's exactly what we did for Manchester-based Reflexologist Hannah Tappenden. After we designed her new branding, these business cards were printed on an Mist Paper from and worked out £50 cheaper than 🐄
We'd love to help you reduce cost and save the environment
