Spring into Winter Garden Design

Little Winter Spring project, built the boxes in my kitchen, but enjoyed the final outcome.

I've been truly blessed to be able to do this garden for Alan and Sue. A complete blank canvas to start and left completely to choose what I've wanted to do. Its still at various stages and some areas are dry and shaded, some are too wet, but working on it over time and getting there slowly! Thank you for the opportunity to you both and looking forward to continuing to see it flourish.

Mixed feelings on this job as I broke two toes in the process! Originally a painting job, the wood worm had other ideas so the base structure had to be removed, replaced and the Cedar decking treated, sanded and restored. Fence panels and shed were painted, and raised beds installed to define the planting area from the lawn.

This garden was huge and backed onto Chorlton Brook so a fantastic garden for me to tackle. It was really dated, and the concrete balustrade was falling down the hill, so really dangerous. The customers wanted to link the exterior guest room to the rest of the house, have a ramp to the garden, and a covered work space. The height did cause some problems, but I managed to achieve all these requirements. Sadly I didn't get chance plant this garden as the customers are waiting on further funding. But I really would like to see this planted with cascades of flowers in the future to soften the hard landscaping.
