I knew Warhol liked his Polaroids but never knew he was a Minox 35 user.
I think we have one in stock.
Does anyone here shoot with them?

There are two lovely large enlargers in Greater Manchester (Audenshaw) needing a new home in the next 7 days.
5x4” Omega Pro-Lab D6, condenser enlarger running off mains with 240v bulb.
6x9cm (and down to 35mm) early Durst U70.
Again, mains voltage (no transformer) with condenser.
Neither have lenses, both need carting away before 25th Sept.
Pay what’s fair for you.
Contact me (Jem Kime) and I’ll put you in touch with the owner.

A strange combination, Ilford supporting its rival: Agfa!
An Ilford Sportina from the mid 1960s. An unusual camera for Ilford to sell as they were promoting their competitors format: Agfa’s Rapid cassette.
As noted on the camera, this was made by Dacora.
Ilford did sell 35mm refills of 24 exp so it made some small sales sense but the scarcity of this camera demonstrates the lack of enthusiasm for this film format in the UK.
It just goes to show that there’s more than one way to do things…

Weird FILM!
Of course 35mm film is " B I G " these days, and we have that, but we also have other formats too, here are just some we have in stock at present: Ilford HP3 Glass Plates (for very old cameras) in both Quarter plate (4 1/4 x 3 1/4") and a smaller size. 120 film you might not have seen before: CatLABS X Film 80 (a B&W neg film with superfine grain) & RERA Chrome (a Colour Reversal 100 ISO E6 film)"Assambled (sic) in Japan". 127 film, reloaded with Fuji Velvia 50. 126 Fujicolor Super HR (Instamatic Cassettes) cartridges 24 exposure 100 ASA colour film, also some Kodacolor II. APS films in various options: 40 exp Fujichrome (for 'slides') processing included! Fujifilm, Agfa, Boots and Max Spielman options too, usually 25 exposures but with some 40 exp. examples. 110 cartridges by Truprint (24 exp. 200 ASA) and sometime others. And finally, "bringing up the rear" we have some Super 16 (Super-Rare) Rollie 16 film for their unusual little 16mm film camera; the Rollei 16!
We love film! :-)

The delights of running any business with a passion is meeting or exceeding customer's expectations.
Yesterday in Liverpool we had a request for an amber colour correction filter in 39mm screw mount to fit his Cosina-made Voigtlander lens.
Cosina never made filters for this size.
Although he knew the Wrattan (Kodak) filter number that was only of any use if you could buy the gelatine filter to mount into a filter holder. We have neither gel filters nor a 39mm filter holder.
But I do have 3 drawers of filters collected predominately for use with Leica lenses, many in obscure sizes, e.g. 60mm, Series V, VI, VII and even up to S.8.5, 48mm, 43mm, 41mm, 40.5mm, 40mm and of course 39mm.
What did Leica make in Colour Correction filters in 39mm size? Nothing.
But.....B+W did make them, and I found just what was required. Hurrah!
The customer left with what he'd hoped for but I think had little knowledge of just how fortunate he was to find such an obscure item.
All's well that ends well.
