Christmas has kind of passed us all by this year, but we do hope you managed to make the most of it. We were all dealing with the issues and the effects on international trade due to the global pandemic as well as keeping a cautious eye on the Brexit negotiations and we are all still dealing and adapting to these issues. Our order for calendars even got cancelled as the manufacturers are based in Germany and they couldn’t guarantee they’d be able to ship before Brexit!

But still we didn’t want you to think that we haven’t don’t anything, we have, we’ve just adapted and done something different. We’ve gone out into our local community and asked for help in gathering together a care package which I delivered this morning to Heathlands care home which is run by the FED. They look after a huge community of people both in their care home and around the local area, they have also had a large area of their care home taken over by the NHS for the treatment of covid patients and have really had a tough year. We’ve gathered unwanted Christmas gifts, other donated items and we’ve been shopping (on line) ourselves and filled the RSL pickup truck up with all sorts of goodies, from chocolates and drinks to jigsaw puzzles and audio books.
