Building Positive Foundations for Generations

CEG is designed to work with young people aged 11-18 who have been referred to us by the local authorities, educational institutions, and organisations

We focus on educating their mind and enhancing their learning experience, by providing them with the right resources to make better decisions in their lives

We also support our young people through 1:1 and group mentoring when it comes to county lines, child criminal exploitation and child sexual exploitation

Great session at Altrincham FC today talking all things exploitation and safety planning.

Some really important conversations and brilliant engagement 🙌 Really encouraging to see everyone getting involved, asking questions, and taking the time to think about how to keep themselves and others safe.

Always great to be part of creating a space where people feel comfortable to learn, share, and support each other🏆🤩

We are proud to welcome our new lived-experience mentor, Rachel Bowden ✨

From a challenging childhood to rebuilding her life with strength and resilience, Rachel now uses her journey to empower young people.

She’ll be delivering honest, impactful sessions on exploitation awareness, relationships, safety, confidence and self-worth.

We’re so lucky to have her on the team 💙

📚 We had lots of fun at Birchfields Primary School ! Our mentors delivered knife crime awareness workshops to their year five and six.

👏 With fun activities and lived experience insight we taught the young people about the dangers of knife crime, how to stay safe, positive / negative influences and the importance of asking for support.

✏️ The pupils at Birchfields were wonderful. They listened well and engaged in all aspects of the workshop, asking questions and offering interesting perspectives.

🩺 We were delighted to be joined by who also delivered workshops with the Birchfield’s pupils around first aid and responding to knife crime injuries in the moment.

✅ We are delighted to announce that we have launched our Knife Crime Awareness Youth Workshops!

😁 We are really excited to be a part of the campaign, lead by to raise awareness and understanding of youth violence and knife crime across South Manchester.

🏫 We were so impressed by the young pupils at St Mary’s Primary. They engaged wonderfully with the workshop and gave lots of great feedback.

We are delighted to announce our new female lived experience mentor April Jordan.

April grew up on a council estate in Little Hulton, surrounded by poverty, crime, violence, substance abuse, and grooming gangs. She was excluded from school, never finished, and even went through a stint of sofa surfing.

But against all odds April persevered! She enrolled herself in courses, studied an apprenticeship, worked in social housing, then property development, and eventually found herself traveling the world with several companies.

Now April is passionate about supporting other young people and eager to share her wisdom. We are very excited to have her as part of our team and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will have.
