The face of Manchester has changed for good.
The documentary Block To Block focuses on the rapidly changing face of Manchester's skyline over the last few decades under Sir Richard Lease and Sir Howard Bernstein's pro-developer leadership.
It also focuses on what new leader Bev Craig can do to make Manchester's property environment work for the people of Manchester, and not as a tool for corporate profit.
Come and watch Block To Block at the cherished community pub Eagle Inn in Salford, Monday 18th August at 7pm.
We will also have some special guests from the housing world and members of Block The Block breaking down Manchester's billion pound property disaster.

Block To Block has made it as a finalist in the short documentary category at Wales International Film Festival.
It'll be shown alongside loads of other great films for free during the online festival this Thursday and Friday.

Another chance to see Block To Block in Manchester at Eagle Inn in Salford, Monday 18th September at 7pm.
We'll also be bringing some radical guests from the housing world, where we will answer questions and talk about Manchester's broken property landscape.
I'm very happy to say there's another chance to see the documentary in person at the radical and inspiring World Transformed Festival in Liverpool.
With a fleet of amazing guests like Zarah Sultana, Jeremy Corbyn, Ash Sakar, Mick Lynch and many others, the festival gives us radical solutions to the many crisis that we're all engulfed by.

With a severe and growing homeless population and a housing environment dominated by luxury accommodation, for many people, Greater Manchester is in a state of crisis. This is nothing new.
There are many things that Manchester could be doing differently, and alongside The Meteor : Manchester's Independent Media, we are investigating why they aren’t being done. We seek to answer an important question – Who is this city being built for?
