Yesterday was a good day.
Swung by Schofield’s Bar for a little shoot, then got inducted into the International Bar Flies. Needless to say, I’m totally blown away by this.
Panic kicked in during the induction as one needs to recite the rules - and yes there is a secret handshake…
Thanks must go to Joe and Daniel who nominated me and to Franz MacElhone for inducting me. A truly memorable experience.

Letting the light do the work.
Soft warmth across chilled glass, clean reflections, and carbonation held just long enough to feel alive. For this series of Christmas serves for Schweppes shot at Daisy in Manchester. The brief was clear, keep it seasonal without over-styling or leaning on tacky props. A restrained set, honest textures, and winter warmth carried purely through light and tone.
Throwing it back to a project from a few years ago.
I was on the road capturing content for the first-ever International Drinks Competition with Mathieu Teisseire.
Multiple cities. Multiple countries. One intense week.
Packed light, moved fast, and captured both photo and video each day adapting on the fly as we travelled.
It was more than a competition. It was an immersive, global experience rooted in flavour, creativity, and the bartending community, and a reminder of how much I enjoy working this way. Travelling relatively lean, staying flexible, and telling stories across borders.

The House of Suntory Dojo Comp wrapped up last year with a day of inspiring voices sharing stories on Japan, whisky, and culture. Bartenders then took to the bar to present their Kaizen Classics, refined since the Dojima House workshops. Photographed and filmed as part of a long-standing creative partnership with Raff, House of Suntory and the Global Bartending team.
A short film capturing moments from the Maker’s Mark x Where the Light Gets In collaboration, bringing together the Manchester bar community for a day rooted in flavour, purpose, and connection. From harvesting seasonal produce at The Landing to the energy of a hands-on workshop led by Sam Buckley and his team.
