Indepen-Dance Day - 4th July 🙂❤

Evening folks, hope you've recovered from the weekend exertions. That was a belter of a party at OverDraught MCR and we can't wait for more of the same with Nessa Johnston and Lee Perry on the 4th of July. Already a bit of a buzz about that one!

We wanted to give you a heads up on what we've got lined up for August as the Kibosh Erasmus Exchange Programme kicks into gear. We've been fortunate enough to host amazing guest DJs who have been willing to travel a fair old distance to play at our parties and it's about time we returned the favour. We loved having Year Zero (Mark Bailey and Graham Brand) up from London in February and then we had SX2 (Clive and Scott) over from Waterford in May. We're delighted to be reciprocating in August with a couple of excursions as follows:

1sr of August - Day and night party at Henge Brixton. Full details to be confirmed but I think we'll be starting around 1pm and going on to around midnight. We'll have a selection of the Kibosh residents representing the collective alongside Mark and Graham. Should be an absolute corker and a London debut for Kibosh.

22nd of August we'll be heading over the Irish sea to Waterford where we'll be joining the SX2 lads who have a residency at Electric Avenue.. Anybody who was at our May party will know just how amazing SX2 were and we can't wait to play alongside them again.

Well, that was bloody good fun. Another magnificent evening at Overdraught for the Kibosh family and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces along with a few new recruits.

We had a few technical issues with the controller which meant drafting in some CDJs mid-set but it's these little challenges that make life interesting. We got there in the end, thank you for your patience 🙏

Huge thanks to Mikel, Hayley and the whole OverDraught MCR team for your wonderful hospitality. You really do take good care of us 🙂

Thanks also to Mikel for playing a blinding set that really set the tone for the latter half of the evening. That Damon Jee remix of Mr BC is a bonafide Kibosh classic and it's been too long since it graced our dancefloor 🔥

Kibosh will return to Overdraught on 4th July when we're delighted to be welcoming Lee Perry (Peza) and Nessa Johnston as guests. Two incredible DJs and not to be missed 😎

Just a few days to go until our next party at Overdraught and we're delighted to announce an addition to the line-up for the evening.

We'll be joined by Prints, otherwise known to many of us as 'Mikel from Overdraught'. As well as being an excellent sound engineer, venue operator, and all round thoroughly nice chap, he's also a very talented DJ.

We enjoyed an impromptu B2B session with Mikel when we commandeered some decks in the back room of an event in Stretford a couple of months ago so we know he can dovetail with the Kibosh residents seamlessly. He's played at various parties across Manchester and the wider UK including Deranged Nights, Hologram, and the Not a Cult Festival.

Expect chug, psychedelia, and an enhanced sense of wellbeing.

Hopefully see many of you lovely lot at Overdraught on Saturday.

🔥Hot off the back of an exceptional party with our great friends from across the Irish Sea , we've been saving some aural treats and contortion inducing psychedelic techno of the highest order to go wild at the best pub rave venue there is.

👾Come and experience fine folk enjoying company soundtracked with a first-class soundsystem in the suburbs. Expect chuggy acid wobbles and euphoric wrinkles in time and space and a cracking selection of beers and cocktails
