✨ Join Our Team at Europia! ✨

We’re looking for a freelancer from the Roma community or a Romanian person who wants to support the Roma community, to help our frontline team across Greater Manchester.

Your work will include:
đź’¬ Helping with translation and communication
🗂️ Supporting simple admin tasks (printing, forms, scanning)
🎉 Assisting at community events and drop-ins
đźš— Travelling around Greater Manchester (expenses covered up to ÂŁ10/day)

đź’· Pay: ÂŁ15 per hour (depending on experience)
🕒 Hours: Flexible – around 4–7 hours per week

If you speak Romanian and/or Romani (and some English), are friendly, reliable, and enjoy helping others — we’d love to hear from you!

OPEN CALL: Unity in Community

Art for Care, Resistance, and Resilience

We are inviting artists, creatives, and community members to respond to the theme “Unity in Community” what does it mean to you?

This open call is part of a project raising awareness around hate crime and its recognised strands:
Disability
Race or ethnicity
Religion or belief
Sexual orientation
Transgender identity and alternative subculture

We welcome works that explore experiences of care, resistance, and resilience in the face of injustice.

Your art might respond directly to hate crime, or more broadly reflect your vision of solidarity, healing, and connection.

All art forms are welcome . Visual art, poetry, photography, performance, sound, film, and beyond.

Exhibition: Selected works will be exhibited during Hate Crime Awareness Week Launch from 10th - 17th October at Longsight Art Space.

Let’s create a space where stories are shared, identities honoured, and communities empowered.
