Come join us on march 30th to stick it to star pubs
For those who dont know already we are under threat of star pubs retaking control of the lease. This would mean saying goodbye to our extensive whisky collection, our wide range of cask ales supporting local breweries and of couse our fabulous team of bartenders.

We have put together an evening of live music to bring everyone together and get talking about the importance of the Britons and raise abit of a storm.

We have a great selection of raffle prizes on offer over the month just pop down for a pint or 2 and ask a member of staff £5 a ticket all of the procceds will be going towards helping pay legal fees.

Hope to see plenty of faces there to show us some support :)

Firstly to thank everybody for their continued support in trying help us keep our pub.

The signatures gathered on our change.org page are increasing daily

We are edging closer to the inevitable with Star pubs who have now acknowledged our will to take this matter to court .

Rest assured We will take this as far a We
need to ensure the business and the community pub we have maintained stays for years to come .

This coming Tuesday in remembrance of the historic Perterloo massacre that occurred just a stone's throw from our doors there will be a commemoration ceremony followed by peaceful protest against the proposed build and the taking back of our beloved pub by Heineken .Stella Artois will be offering a BOGOF deal on the first 100 pints .Lets raise a glass to history and keeping our pub local

As our fight with Star Pubs & bars (Heineken) continues we have decided to no longer stock their flagship beer.

Stella Artois will be our new house beer sponsor and will be lobbying our cause. We will be having a Stella take over in the coming week.
