Have you ever received an invitation for breast screening but felt unsure about attending? You're not alone.

We understand that some people may feel anxious, worried, embarrassed, or simply don't know what to expect during a breast screening appointment. That's why Withington are opening their doors for a special Breast Screening Open Day.

Due to systems beyond our control we had to evacuate the building for over an hour this am. Naturally this has left us to deal with a backlog of appointments and calls.

Please note that the practice will be closed for the upcoming Bank Holiday on Monday 25th May 2026.

💊 Repeat Prescriptions
If you are due medication over the Bank Holiday period, please order your prescription early to ensure you don’t run out. Requests made at the last minute may not be processed in time.

Local pharmacies – can help with minor illnesses and medication
