Just another normal day in renovation life. 🔨😂

If I spot a problem before we start, I’ll always tell the client.

My job is to explain what I’ve found, what could happen if we leave it, and what I recommend. Then the client decides whether we fix it or leave it as it is.

For me, it’s important that the client knows exactly what they’re dealing with before we carry on.

This is one of the problems with renovation – once everything is finished, you can’t see what’s underneath.

When we opened up this floor, we found a problem that could have easily been covered up and forgotten about. And unfortunately, we do come across things like this on renovation jobs.

A few centimetres might not look like a big deal, but with flooring it matters. We could carry on and make everything look nice on top, but that’s not how we work. If we find a problem, we sort it properly before moving on.

Before installation, we’re correcting the ceiling level to make sure all the new units finish at exactly the same height — no uneven gaps, no shortcuts.

It’s easy to focus on what’s happening inside your home, but the outside needs attention too. 🌿

Overgrown trees and plants growing too close to the house can damage brickwork, trap moisture and eventually lead to costly repairs.

A little regular maintenance can prevent a much bigger problem later.
