Strength isn’t just about muscles.
After having a baby, many mums don’t just lose confidence in their body — they lose confidence in what their body can do.
You might second-guess yourself.
Wonder if you’re doing exercises correctly.
Feel nervous lifting heavier things.
Or simply not feel as capable as you once did.
That loss of confidence can affect far more than fitness.
Because feeling strong isn’t just physical.
It’s knowing your body can support you through everyday life.
The good news?
Confidence can be rebuilt.
And often it starts with small moments where you realise:
“Actually... I can do this.” 💛

Pregnancy can make exercise feel confusing.
Some days you feel like you could move.
Other days just getting through the day is enough.
That’s exactly why I run Mums in Motion Pregnancy classes 💛

✨ move safely through every trimester
✨ support your energy (not drain it)
✨ ease aches and stiffness
✨ feel more confident in your body

I remember thinking I should be coping better with how tired I felt in pregnancy.
Like I should still be doing more.
Still functioning normally.
Still keeping up.
But I wasn’t lazy.
I was pregnant.
My energy changed. My body changed. My capacity changed.
Once I stopped fighting that, everything felt easier.
Now I see it so clearly with other mums too:
Pregnancy fatigue isn’t something to push through.
It’s something to understand and adapt to 💛

One of the biggest misconceptions in pregnancy is:
“If I’m tired, I shouldn’t move.”
But with the right kind of movement, many mums actually feel:
✨ less sluggish
✨ more mobile
✨ mentally clearer
Not because they pushed harder —
but because they moved in a way that supported their body.
Gentle movement isn’t about energy drain.
It’s about energy support.

Pregnancy energy is honestly all over the place 😂
☕ Morning: “I’ve got this”
😐 Midday: “Why am I tired already?”
🫠 Afternoon: “I need to lie down”
😵 Evening: “Tired… but awake??”
If this feels familiar, you’re not alone.
Pregnancy isn’t about having steady energy — it’s about constantly adjusting as your body changes throughout the day.
Some moments you feel okay.
Other moments you’re completely done in.
Both are normal.
And none of it means you’re doing anything wrong.
💬 Where are you at right now?

Most advice around pregnancy tiredness is simply “rest more.”
But real life doesn’t always allow that.
So instead, we focus on:
✨ energy pacing
✨ short supportive movement
✨ removing pressure to perform
Small adjustments can make the biggest difference when energy is limited.

Pregnancy tired isn’t just “I need an early night” tired.
It’s:
• waking up already exhausted
• needing rest after the smallest task
• feeling like your energy disappears halfway through the day
And then still being expected to carry on as normal.
But this isn’t about you not coping.
Your body is doing multiple full-time jobs at once:
• growing a baby
• changing blood volume
• shifting hormones
• preparing for birth
Of course you’re tired.
Instead of forcing your way through it, this week we’re looking at something more helpful:
💛 how to actually work with your energy

Let’s help some tired mums out 👇
If a newly postnatal mum came to you and said:
“I have no time, no energy, and no idea what to eat...”
What’s the ONE food, meal, or snack you’d recommend?
💛 Something easy
💛 Something realistic
💛 Something that helps on busy days
