Robert Pavey Racing and Mini stuff

Out and about over the last few weeks with Emma in her cabriolet.
Maintenance on brothers RSP and his Frogeye in my garage for fuel tank sender and harnesses in advance of French adventure...
Mk2 a few deliveries from Mini Spares and subframes in plus some of the suspension.
Need to source some alloy calipers and discs...luckily the best can be sourced locally...trip to Kent Auto Developments - KAD at some point soon.
Mini 7 needs some TLC on gear selection so I can get it out on track evening.
Gathering parts for Trunk Trader pitch at Mini Cooper Day at Beaulieu next Sunday 8th.

Cabriolet started first time after being in carcoon few a month or so. Clutch solid though but freed off with my special tools...bar and hammer! Now in airchamber in garage.
Mini 7 removed from poly tunnel but got stuck in gear and could not free it up. Engine out and with guru Peter Vickers. Needs different diff ratio anyway for regs so woould have to come out sometime.
Towed out of gravel (not for the first time!) and in carcoon for now.
Mk2 in primer ready for final fetling before painting begins. No idea at moment where this will go when it comes back....another shuffle around no doubt.

Some good Mini progress this week.....
Cabriolet shell/miniskip moved to new timber framed store/garage.
Mk2 in expoxy, very exciting.
Mk2 heritage subframe radius arm brackets removed as not needed plus previous experience tells me they are painted in situ, still dont undertand why (apart from cost!) as starting to rust already. Frame will be painted before fitting.
Mini 7 moved out of poly tunnel but stuck in gear so did mot make it to my old concrete garage.....hope its not too serious....fearing the worst...will investigate next week.
Poly tunnel dismantling started as this is part of the area for dream garage build.

Long overdue Mini update.....projects had been on back burner due to house move and work but now its time to get back to it!
Mk2 off to paint (pressure now to decide on colour), lots of new parts from Mini Spares await fitting when its back.
Emma's Cabriolet in outdoor bubble for now.
Mini 7 and original Cabriolet (not sure what we will be doing with this yet) in poly tunnel that need to be moved to make way for dream garage build. Busy time ahead.....
