Super proud of our colleague's daughter who ran the Junior Great North run yesterday. She had an amazing day and ran in support of Charlie and Carter, a charity that offers financial support for parents of seriously ill children.

We were called out to secure canopy soffit panels that had come loose in strong winds. As it turns out, rain was getting in through a hole in the roof and pooling on top of the canopy soffit. Now we've repaired and sealed that hole, then installed the replacement soffit panels which will no longer have to bear the weight of the water.

At 14m high, weighing 4 tonnes, this totem sign needed to be relocated to make way for a new access road. With M36 hinged eye bolts and a 40 tonne crane, we lifted it from its current position and landed it on it's new foundation. One of the larger cherry pickers we use was at full extension on one side of the sign, just to reach the top to affix the lifting tackle.

We are looking for Experienced sign fitters, fitter's mates, painters and electricians, if anyone has any recommendations?

An opportunity, whilst we have the plant on hire and trade disrupted, to get all new canopy signage, roof sheets, gutters and underlining, all done in one go, to save the repeat costs if we were to just fix one thing at a time.

A respectful tribute to Ann Widdecombe who humbly paid us a visit back in July 2006, in support of new local businesses. It was spooky when we realised is was exactly 20 years ago, almost to the day!

An HGV caught the canopy soffit when passing through this site, and caught nearly even length on the way! Replacement executed, looks good as new again.

Two of our Xmo Lead Ladies completed the Maidstone Race for Life yesterday. Beautifully set in Mote Park; we were spurred on by inspiring demonstrations of motivation, support and comradery, family and friends coming together for a unifying cause
