Sunday 21st June. āļø Itās the summer solstice.
The longest day.
The most golden light weāll get all year.
Iām spending it in a circle of my friendās beehives on a patch of land I once cast a spell for, telling the bees our news before we tell anyone else. Thatās actually old beekeeping folklore. š
The first half of the hives get our gratitude for the last six months.
The second half get our intentions for the next.
Then we meet in the centre, say it all out loud, write it down, fold it toward our hearts and set it alight.
You donāt need the bees or the 4am alarm for your version.
Just carve out the time today, pour gratitude into whatās come, and set the intention for the light you want to bring in.
The dog will listen. So will the fish. So will the plant on your windowsill.

I had my palm read recently.
I wasnāt sure what to expect. I donāt think your hand decides your life. But I was curious.
What I didnāt expect was to sit there and just... recognise everything she said.

Thursday is Jupiterās day. And Jupiter is the planet of abundance, expansion, and saying yes to yourself.
Which sounds great until you realise youāve been rationing yourself the last biscuit, eating standing up, and calling it āfine.ā
Abundance isnāt about having more. It starts with believing youāre allowed to receive whatās already here.
Your nervous system is the key to that. When youāre stuck in survival mode, your body canāt register enough, no matter whatās in front of you.
So today, pick one small yes. The shower. The sit down. The help you keep turning down.
Thatās where it starts. š

I used to run on empty.
Working mum. Full schedule. Nothing left in the tank by 6PM⦠Sound familiar?
I thought breathwork was just something you did to calm down. A nice little breathing exercise for when things got a bit much.
I was wrong.
Breathwork isnāt about calming down.
Itās about changing your state entirely.
Regulating your nervous system so you stop running on stress hormones and start running on something that actually sustains you.
And now? I catch those moments.
The ones where I used to tip over the edge.
And instead of going under I meet them with compassion and a little ritual that pulls me back to me.
More bandwidth. More awareness. More of meā¦for me and for the people I love.
I became a certified SOMA breathwork instructor last month.
And I made it for us.
The overwhelmed mums.
The ones who think itās not for them.
It is.
It always was.

Wow. So many things to do. ALL of them urgent apparently. At least thatās what my brain has decided at 11pm.
The reply I havenāt sent.
The school trip I havenāt paid for yet.
The appointment I need to book.
The meal I havenāt planned.
All screaming at exactly the same volume.
And my kids?
One sock.
Bedtime brain that will not switch off.
Started three things, finished none of them.
Turns out itās not just me being rubbish at life. Itās Gemini season and itās doing a number on all of us.
And my lovelies, itās here until 21st June so buckle up.
Gemini rules the lungs and the nervous system.
Which means the season that wired you up also gave you the way out.

Half termās over and the biggest feeling is always that I didnāt do enough.
ā PE kits. Should have sorted them before Sunday night.
ā Bedtime. Should have wound it back two days earlier.
ā One to one time with each of them. Never quite enough.
ā The David Attenborough exhibition in London. Never happened.
ā
At least I didnāt eat them though. Some species canāt say the same.
PS. They did go to the beach nearly every day. And I contributed to plastic landfill via purchasing approximately one thousand squishys. So thereās that.
