Cable pulling is one of those disciplines where experience and planning make all the difference.
Whether it's high voltage distribution cables or low voltage final circuits, getting the route right, managing bending radii, and protecting cables throughout the installation process takes more than just manpower — it takes knowledge built over decades.
At Loxton Installations, our teams handle HV and LV cable pulling across commercial and industrial sites throughout Kent and the surrounding home counties. From initial route surveys and cable schedule preparation through to pulling, terminating, and testing — we manage the full process to ensure every installation is safe, compliant, and built to last.
With nearly 50 years of experience and a team of 40+ qualified engineers, we have the capability to take on projects of any scale — from single feeder runs to complex multi-cable installations across large facilities.

During the requested EICR test and inspection it became apparent that the workshop electrical switch gear was in an unsatisfactory condition.
Loxton Installation was asked to disconnect and remove all the decayed electrical switch gear, bus section and old Distribution Board and place in the site waste recycling skips.
Loxton Installations supplied and installed new cable containment, a new mains incoming isolator, 2 off new bus sections, a new Eaton 3 phase distribution board, new switched fused isolators and a new generator change over switch. Loxton Installations terminated all the SWA cables and commissioned the new essential generator and change over switch change over switch.

Loxton Installations recently replaced the lighting in a large warehouse situated in North Kent. Below are the before and after images of the warehouse.
The project has increased the lighting level from around 40-50 Lux to an average of 150 Lux measured 1 meter off the FFL (finished floor level). The new Lux readings are very impressive considering the warehouse is around 16 meter high.
The system previously had no intelligent control with only on or off operations. However, the new lighting optimizes daylight harvesting by measuring the natural light in the room from the windows, and only turns on the lights enough to bring the room level to the correct Lux reading. Another great feature is the occupancy sensor. This feature will bring the lights on when movement is detected and switch them off after a set time when no movement is detected. With these smart features and the lights being more efficient, it is estimated that the payback for the project is within 36 months.
The lights also have onboard Bluetooth and can therefore be programmed via a mobile device. Within the programme, you can customize the functions and features of how you would like the lighting to work such as; off times, lighting level, and on/off features.
