Hello All
Recently designed and built this little number to sort out a busy families’ under stairs storage issues.
They wanted a shelved storage area, a shoe drawer and some display shelves to display their Grandsons football trophies 🏆

This week we ripped out this cold narrow spiral staircase which rendered the stairwell a complete waste of space and supplied and fitted this traditional softwood replacement with Understairs storage to boot. Decorating it next week!

On this project we stripped back the old staircase set up,replaced with sleek glass and new handrails then fitted this stylish panelling around the open plan dining room, up the stair wall and around the landing

And this little project …. Another 3 floor family house had the ranch style balustrade, same as previous, rip out, wrap the newel posts then supply and install new handrails and base rails in softwood then glass on both staircases and all gallery landings

I really need to be more regular with posting our work on here, here are a few bits that has kept us busy lately , firstly a staircase modernisation, we removed all of the handrails spindles and base rails then wrapped the existing newel posts fitted new softwood base rails, oak handrails and newel caps then finished it with stunning balustrade glass.

A nice little traditional oak stair refurb here , removed the existing drab hardboard on the staircase and gallery landing and fitted new oak handrails base rails and spindles.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted on here:-
So on this project after replacing all the old ply flush doors with contemporary pre finished ones we removed the tired old squeaky staircase and made and fitted this beautiful new version with a sweeping bullnose tread version complete with hardwood treads and an understairs cupboard but tucked away to open up the room more.
All works including bespoke staircase design and build, fit , plastering and decorating courtesy of KCCarpentry

A nice little job here, wrapping the stair parts in oak , a new oak handrail with glass balustrade and finished by building a 3 door storage unit beneath the stairs , sleek modern and practical.
