🔶 Another productive day in Long Eaton North! 🔶

Great to be out speaking with residents around Longmoor Primary School today. Lots of thoughtful conversations about safety, antisocial behaviour and doing more for young people locally. Whether people agreed with me or not, the message was consistent: residents want a councillor who listens and acts — not just at election time.

Separately, earlier this week my team walked around College Street to follow up on concerns about poor pavements and unsafe walking routes. We took photos and noted the exact locations — because problems don’t get fixed by ignoring them.

If I’m elected, I’ll be pushing for:
✔ Safer, well-maintained streets
✔ Real opportunities for young people locally
✔ Reliable representation at County Hall — someone who responds and stays accountable

🔶 Back out in Long Eaton North today — another fantastic day speaking to residents! 🔶

This afternoon we delivered leaflets to around 250 households across the ward, as well as chatting to residents wherever possible. Thank you to everyone who took the time to say hello or share what matters most to you — every comment helps me understand where Long Eaton needs support the most.

It’s clear people want:
✔ safer and cleaner streets
✔ cracked pavements and potholes fixed properly
✔ a councillor who will listen and communicate directly with residents

That’s exactly the kind of representation I want to bring to the council.

🔶 A brilliant day out in Long Eaton North! 🔶

Great to be out canvassing today for my first ever time, meeting residents, hearing about the issues that matter most, and seeing first-hand where improvements are needed, especially around cracked pavements and road surfaces.

It was also a pleasure to bump into candidates from other parties. Everyone out today was respectful and committed to improving our community. That’s what local democracy should look like, and I’ll always work with anyone who wants to make life better for Long Eaton - regardless of political alignments.
