I’ve never felt love, connection, energy, community like that before, never heard the songs sung so loudly by so many people, never had that many significant people from my music life all gathered together in one room, never felt a gig go by so fast, never felt as proud to share a stage with people before.

For reasons I only partly understand, all the people in that room had invited this album deep into their lives, the level of goodwill was just ridiculous at times, especially useful for all the times I forgot the words, which was often. The joy was overwhelming for me, all of us on stage absolutely soaked it up. Nights like that don’t happen that often so it’s good to appreciate them when they come.

More to follow soon, but for now endless thanks to the band - , , , , , , , . Thanks to all the staff at , my amazing crew , , , .ireland, to my sensationally supportive wife , I couldn’t have begun to do this without you. And most of all to all the people who made it to the gig - you all made it what it was.

Back to normal today, but only for now.

If you're planning to be in London for the Many Fish To Fry show, come join us for a social the next day if you can, Sunday 22nd February, 12:30pm - 4pm, Signature Brew Haggerston.

The idea is to find a moment to hang out and catch up as there won't be much time for that on the Saturday. Like an after-show party except with some sleep in between. You might already be heading home by then, if so agghh booo shame, but it's there if you fancy it.
