Welcome to Bridge Park Gymnastics Club. Established in 2009, we are a GymMark accredited gymnastics club in the London Borough of Westminster.

BPGC provides a range of different classes for gymnasts depending on their age and ability.

💛Use these handstand drills to help build strong, controlled shapes💛

Focusing on alignment, core strength, and shoulder stability to develop a consistent, confident handstand. Using blocks, wall work, and shape drills to reinforce technique and body awareness - all key for long-term progress.

#1 Start with bunny hops against a wall ~
Encourages active shoulders and quick hand placement while building confidence being inverted.

#2 Lunge to flat-back arabesque ~
Develops control through the lever and teaches correct entry shape into handstand.

#3 Pike handstand leg lifts (feet on block) ~
Targets compression strength and core control while reinforcing stacked alignment.

✦ Challenge: pike handstand kick to hold ~
Focus on control in the kick-up and finding balance at the top.

#4 ‘L’ handstand ~
Builds strength and awareness in a supported inverted position while maintaining shape.

#5 Handstand against a wall ~
Reinforces straight body alignment and shoulder positioning for a consistent finish.
