Breaking: A 13-year-old girl from Baker, Louisiana went missing around 20 October 2025 after meeting a man online via the app Snapchat.
The man she met is identified as Ki‐Shawn Crumity, age 26, residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She travelled across state lines — from Louisiana through Georgia and then to Pennsylvania.
On arrival at Crumity’s home (in the Brighton Heights neighbourhood of Pittsburgh), she was found inside a box (covered with a sheet) in the basement.
Evidence indicates she was given edibles (cannabis-infused food) and alcohol, and allegedly sexually assaulted repeatedly while in that location.
Crumity is charged with multiple crimes including human-trafficking of a minor, sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of a child.
Other arrests: A 62 yearold man from New Orleans, Ronald Smith, was arrested in Georgia for kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile in connection with the case.

A 29-year-old Nigerian man, Chiemka Okoronta, has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for ra**ng a 17-year-old girl after offering to share a taxi with her when her bus terminated unexpectedly in Leeds, United Kingdom.
