We are organising a Design Camp in a London Primary School. The camp will last 3 days and focusses on helping children (aged 9-11) to use the design process to research, design, and make badges. We are looking for some volunteers that would be available to help us out for one or more of the following days: 16th 17th and 18th of February and would be able to get to Shepherds Bush. This is a really good opportunity to make some contacts within Design Education. If you are interested drop us an email at [email protected]. Thanks !

A Beginner's Guide to Making #1: Rings 16/01/2015

A workshop that we ran with Begin Anywhere ! Check them out to find out more things you can begin...

How to design and make a pewter ring from scratch. Expert designer makers Beci and Julian from Cooking Objects show us how to make our own unique jewellery, using little more than some plywood offcuts, an old tankard, a drill and a bit of imagination.

Cooking Objects want to help everyone become a maker. They use familiar kitchen machines and processes to craft new objects. You can download their beautifully illustrated guides to making a wide range of objects at cookingobjects.com - and get cooking!

Many thanks to Leila McAlister who hosted the original workshop in her fabulous Shoreditch cafe, which we heartily recommend trying out.
