I know I have been hammering the Socials in the past two weeks for my gig Hot Water Comedy Club Monday 21st October...it's all for Asthma + Lung UK, a Charity dear to my heart since my Dad Charlie died of lung Cancer aged only 68 in 2004. The gig features excellent comics who I love and respect. I am absolutely honoured that they have agreed to help my 40 Years in Comedy! And here is a picture of me, Jo Brand and Phil Jupitus onstage at The Comedy Store in Leicester Square performing my song "Wouldn't It Be Good?", with Phil on blistering lead guitar at The Cutting Edge Show in September 1993. From now on until the rest of the year I will be posting photos from the whole of my 40-year career. Slainte!
Lead story on BBC website is woman who got life for decapitating her friend. Now that‘s what I call a HEADline!
