First Class Learning Richmond & Ham (tuition) opened in October, 2025, owned and managed by Peggy, a former international corporate lawyer.

We offer tutoring primarily in Maths, English & Science. Our concept is ‘a little each day and more often’ so that the information sticks to the brain as many research studies have proven. FCL have over 300 centres in UK and Internationally and have been operating for over 22 years. Their system has helped thousands of students succeed and achieve their goals.

The Richmond centre specifically also offers 11+ tutoring (very limited spaces) and they also have an excellent GCSE program for both Foundation & Higher level Maths as well as English (limited spaces).

There are 2 centres one in Richmond (Tuesdays 4:45pm) and one in Ham (Thursdays 5pm).

First Class Learning Richmond now offer 11+ exam preparation for Maths and English (we take a limited number of students per year group!). We take students from Year 4 (7 -8 years old), but it's best to start even earlier if English is not the child's first language.

If obtaining a solid set of GCSE grades is your child's goal, then commencing in Year 7 to construct the fundamentals in Maths, English and Science is a good idea.

GCSE's - If your child is in Year 9 or 10, now's a good time for them to review and attack any concepts they do not quite understand or need more practice with. This will then provide them with a robust set of skills to build upon.

Our supportive, structured tuition programmes are fully aligned with the National Curriculum and designed to help every child progress at their own pace.
