So I’m not the poet my Mum was but I do like to put words together sometimes. This is what I came up with this evening, Christmas Eve 2023. Feeling rather reflective tonight 🤔 Merry Christmas to you all 🎄🎄🎄

Well I did this thing 😱 ...

Do you know what the most important part of my day is? It’s not what you think!!!!

It comes before everything I do. It helps me to keep on track, not just with my workout but with my joy, happiness, nutrition, stress and life in general!!!!

And that thing that does all this for me ...
..IS GRATITUDE 🙏🙏🙏

I’ve practised gratitude for a long time but recently I’ve been practicing it everyday with the help of a special journal. Each page is a new day and you can write down what you’re grateful for that day and what could make that particular day great. In the evening you can repeat the process about what you were grateful for that day and what made that day great. It also has a spot for your daily affirmation, your mantra for that day, your ‘I AM’ statement.

Now I’m not saying that you should do this too but what I can say is that when I practice gratitude in this way life always seems brighter, I can always see the positive in all situations and I genuinely don’t feel stressed when I’m doing it which makes me happier and that’s what we all want isn’t it, to feel happier.

So tonight, before this new week starts consider starting to practice gratitude in the mornings before you do anything, it literally takes 5 minutes and that’s why my journal is called The 5 Minute Journal, but you can use a notebook and just write down 3 things you are grateful for and a simple mantra for your day ...
.. try it for a week, this week and share how it makes you feel.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day because I’m trying something new, something I’ve never done before so stay tuned and I’ll share more this week ✌🏼🤙🏼

Consistency and pure determination is propelling me forward in my mission of becoming the very best version of myself ..... I pride myself on being truthful and authentic in all that I do and I’m not gonna say that this journey has been easy, it hasn’t, and it’s also not gonna happen overnight ...

Because this journey isn’t just about the physical appearance and what you can see on the outside ..... it’s also about what’s on the inside especially from the neck up and I heard a saying this week that really resonated with me ...
It goes something like this ‘take a check up from the neck up’ !!!!! And if you think about it, that’s where it all starts ..... you have to get the mindset right before you will see success, and that goes for anything, belief and faith play a massive part in my daily personal development so today I encourage you to ‘take a check up from the neck up’ ..... and when you’re ready to work on YOU I’ll be here ready to help 😘😘

My advice to people who want to live a creative and inspired life would always be to just do the things you want to do right now, do not put anything off. Life is meant to be lived, don’t wait, do it now 😘
