Introducing Wendy to London.

We introduced London to Wendy, as we try to make her the most famous car in London.

Wendy’s been busy

Wendy.

We will be making this car, Wendy, the most famous car in London, in just one month.

Why?
Because the Mayor of London has decided to expand what is called the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in London, meaning old cars such as Wendy will have to pay £12.50 per day to keep driving. As a small business, we cannot afford to get rid of our vehicles, buy a new one, nor can we afford a tail charge of £12.50. There are many other small businesses and low income earners affect by this policy.

Now, we understand the concerns for the environment and have no denial that they are founded in truth, but we do not believe that the ULEZ scrappage scheme is sufficiently funded, or has allowed businesses like ours enough time to replace our devoted vehicles, like Wendy.

Essentially we wish to raise awareness for the topic, and encourage leaders to consider other ways to clean up London.

What about bike lanes all over London?
What about subsidising electric bikes?
What about making London buses fully electric?
What about a public transport network between borough’s?

So what are we going to do about it?

The Echt team and of course Wendy are going to be PROTESTING!
By making Wendy the most famous car in London. We have an extensive marketing mission ahead of us, and a lot of work to do, but the hope is that all of London will know her name and her cause, before the month is done and hopefully she can live to tell the tale!
