We met at the Wetherspoons in Islington 🦢 before an MJ Lenderman show 👋

An old friend introduced us and said, “Ollie makes great music actually.”

Turns out that friend was right.

Describing himself as “Brumicana Dad Rock”, Ollie writes slacker alt-rock with a country tinge, with echoes of Weezer and a DIY ethos throughout.

We’re thrilled to welcome Ollie - and his band lovingly known as The Hogwash - to the Hand In Hive family.

We first met Zoë at Green Man Festival in 2014 and immediately fell in love with her and the Wyldest project.

Almost 11 years to the day we announce her fourth record, The Universe Is Loading.

A beautifully raw and powerfully candid journey covering a difficult time in her life, it’s a typically thought provoking yet infectious indie-pop album from an incredibly special human being.

All brought together and finessed by longtime collaborator and all-round production wizard
