The below statement is from the Portuguese dynamo that is Bruna Pias, a future Oscar-winning filmmaker and the director of our latest project, Perfidia!

“With great pleasure, I show you the official poster of my latest directorial effort (and a big one it was) Perfidia, coming to you this year of 2023! It took us a long time to get this project off the ground, but it has been a journey the team at and I are very grateful for! Announcing our lead ADÉ DEE HAASTRUP as LAWRENCE 🎹 After an extensive search we found our Lawrence and we couldn’t be happier!

Adé trained at the East 15 Acting School. Adé is known for his roles in the film Darkest Hour (Working Title Films) directed by Joe Wright, the award-winning BBC drama Silent Witness (BBC) as well as Holby City (BBC). Haastrup’s recent credits include Precious Hair & Beauty (BFI Network), Uncle Vanya (Candid Broad) and the UK Tour of Barbershop Chronicles (National Theatre)

Introducing Bibi Lucille ( ) as ROSIE! 🌹 We love working with Bibi and can’t wait for everyone to see her in this role!

Bibi Lucille is an award-winning actress, having won the Starnow award for Rising Star and the Women of the Future award. A few career highlights include lead roles in, 'This was a Man' (Leicester Square Theatre), 'Trust' (Amazon Prime), 'Purgatory' (PopstarTV) and 'I am Sophie' (Winner of BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying Flickers' RIIFF). Bibi was nominated for Pastel Film Festival's Best Actress in 2019 with the film 'All Inclusive' and is currently performing her own Offie-nominated, one-woman show 'Meat Cute' (Chiswick Playhouse, Hen and Chicken's Theatre, Bread and Roses Theatre).

Lola Maja (Hair & Make up) is a makeup Artist who has been working in the industry for over 29 years and has won several awards and nominations along the way including the AMVCA 2015 for Best Makeup for “October 1”, nominated for an AMVCA in 2017 for “93 Days” and in 2016 for “The CEO”. She also won Best Visual Effects for “The Figurine” in 2011.

She's currently a Lecturer and Social Media Manager at The Bath Academy of Makeup teaching on Oscar Winning Makeup Artist Peter Sword Kings' Course as well as working in the Industry as an Inclusive Hair & Beauty Expert.

It’s our Production Designer Shakeelah Archibald ( .archibald ) 🎉 Shakeelah will make sure our sets and props as real and striking!

Shakeelah Archibald (Production Designer) is an upcoming freelance creative in the Art, Props, and Scenery departments with experience of working on High-End Television, Commercials, and Short Films.

Her credits reflect this on ‘Culprits’ (Disney+), ‘PRU’ (BBC Three), and ‘EastEnders’ (BBC) to name a few all within the Art department.

Girlsplained (Short Film) was Shakeelah’s first Art Director credit in 2019 she worked alongside award-winning director Charlene Wango.

Shakeelah has recently been shortlisted for a Film London Lodestars 2022, and a BAFTA member from the beginning of this year.

Say hello to our 1st AD Molly Vandermeer ( ) 🎞 she’ll keep us all of time and organised a true MVP!

Molly Vandermeer is an Award Winning film Director, Writer and Producer with extensive on set and Development experience. After graduating from University with a 2.1 in English Literature and History of Art, Molly has gained qualifications from NFTS, the London Film Academy and Met Film School. Molly has also gained experience in Development at the Ink Factory, ITV New York and Revolution Films. Alongside making her own films and working as an AD, Molly also works for a startup part time, Directing IMBD listed web series’. Molly’s documentaries have a social activism focus and her dramas are centred around intense, emotional conflicts. Her debut drama 'Twelve' stars Leslie Ash, Duncan James, Ali Bastian and Parvinder Shergill. The film, which is about an Eating Disorder help group, has won multiple awards (including Best Director).

Introducing the master of cameras and lights it’s our Director of Photography Chiara Fulgoni ( ) 🎬 Chiara is in charge of bringing beautiful visuals to Perfidia and we are sure she’ll deliver them!

Chiara Fulgoni is a hobbit-sized photographer and filmmaker based in West London. After graduating with a First Class Honours in Digital Music and Sound Arts from Brighton University specialising in sound and music for film, she decided she wanted to do Cinematography too. She did a year at MET Film School and started doing freelance photography; shot a bunch of talented cosplayers, models and began taking pictures of famous KPop stars for UnitedKpop. She currently freelances as a portrait and concert photographer, DOP and film crew member whilst teaching at MET Film School.

Meet the big boss producer Jafar Mohammad ( ) 😎 Jafar know how to take care of his crew and he’s the guy to approach about anything “Perfidia”!

Jafar Mohammad is a Kurdish-British producer/editor, he graduated from MDX in 2018 studying tv production, has worked on X-Factor and Gangs of London and co-produced a short called Reclaimed in 2019 and Assistant Produced a show called Táta Storytime 2022.
