Mellow Yellow.
Yellow is still having a moment and we’re very much here for it.
In this completed project in Highgate, we wanted the connection between the dining room and living room to feel playful, energising, and full of character.
Yellow is a definite mood booster, and there’s no such thing as a dead space, not even a hallway. Here we used Sunlight Yellow by Little Greene to bring warmth through the home.
Some of our favourite yellows at the moment:
Yellow 07 by Lick
Duster Yellow by Farrow & Ball
Ziggy’s Yellow by COAT

Currently working on tile layouts for our Hampstead Heath project.
It took a bit of time (and a fair amount of maths), but the numbers finally worked.

Utilising bespoke furniture to maximise space.
This bespoke design was completed for a family home in Hampstead.
Awkward angles, sloping ceilings, tight corners. The eaves are often overlooked, but with the right design, they can become some of the most useful storage in the home.
I think it's all about balance, a thoughtful mix of bespoke carpentry and freestanding pieces that keeps the space both functional and considered.

The Slim Shaker.
We’ve had more and more requests for this style, a contemporary update on the classic Shaker. Defined by a slimmer rail, it refines the familiar profile into something cleaner, sharper, and more modern.
The subtle shift in proportion makes a difference, creating cabinetry that feels more seamless and considered. This image is from a bespoke kitchen we designed in Hampstead Heath.

A place for breakfast and everything in between.
The breakfast bar acts as the central hub of the kitchen, where the day begins and people naturally gather.
We designed a bespoke solid oak waterfall breakfast bar, anchored by a seamless metal leg detail, a piece which visually elongates the space.
The material choices are carried through the kitchen, echoed in the shelving and accessories, creating a cohesive, considered feel throughout.

A sanctuary, spa like experience.
A bathroom designed to instantly calm, reset, and quietly prepare you for the day ahead.
Clean lines and considered materials, including Mandarin Stone XL Lumi tiles, create a minimal, contemporary backdrop, paired with a bespoke Corian basin unit for a seamless finish.
The kind of space that makes getting out of bed, even on a cold, gloomy January morning, feel a little easier.

New Year. New resolutions.
This feels like the perfect time to revisit The Wilder Studios a reformer Pilates gym we renovated in Belsize Park.
The response since opening has been incredible, with huge amounts of 5★ reviews. Well-done to Chad & the team!
The brief was simple:
calming • homely • modern
A space designed to help you slow down, focus, and move well.
If you’re local and new to reformer it’s a great place to start and explore reformer Pilates.

Throwback to our St John’s Wood project.
A space designed to feel calm, light, and effortless. The client, a true lover of whites and soft neutrals, and wanted the palette to stay understated while the furniture and lighting brought the personality.
We leaned into organic, rounded shapes, like this sculptural sofa, adding warmth through texture. Proof that neutral doesn’t mean boring, it’s all about the balance.

They say better late than never… so here we are.
2025 was a busy one, possibly the busiest yet, but without a doubt a great year for PD.
Scrolling back through my camera roll, I realised there was a clear theme, I need to get better at capturing the good stuff. Most of it is usually filled with samples, measurements, decisions and not nearly enough of the finished result.
Still, it was good fun to look back through the year. A mix of behind the scenes, professional and personal moments, everything that makes the process what it is.
1. Revisiting old projects.
2. Shoot days.
3. Preserving heritage details.
4. Venturing into landscaping.
5. Choices, choices, what is the best neutral.
6. Days off.
7. One of many site progress shots.
8. Will never get bored of that sky.
