Re shirring this jumpsuit. Elastic had worn out so I replaced with new and is good to go.
I have made a lot of garments this year with shirring, rows of elastic thread to create stretch and a lovely feature

Jeans repair. Before and after. A good place for a repair as I could lift the pocket and place the repair under it. The pocket was stitched back using a matching thread and stitch size. A satisfying repair

A pile of vintage and modern garments altered. Rips repaired, seams strengthened, elastics replaced and hems secured. Rescued!

Swapped this dress with one of mine and it was way too big. I found a tie in the sleeve, which I knew I wouldn’t use, so I attached it to the side seam to make a back tie. Easy alteration and now wearable 😁

A soft delicate viscose, requires careful handling and preperation. A binding at the neck and three layers on the front bodice.

This top was made out of an unused skirt, a top with a bare shoulder, drapes and a twist. Clients own ideas, discussed and adapted
