I thought fox hunting was banned in the UK, but it turns out trail hunts - where hounds chase a scent instead - still lead to chaos and animals being killed. Last year nearly 600 wild animals were killed, and family pets have also been mauled to death. It's horrifying. But I've just seen the Government is launching a consultation in the New Year into banning trail hunting and ending fox hunting for good. Nigel Farage and others are against the ban so I've signed this petition to drown them out. Will you join me?
Sign the petition: ban trail hunting for good 🚨The Gov could FINALLY be about to end fox hunting for good, by banning trail hunting. But the likes of Farage are criticising the ban. We need to drown them out: sign the petition now to back the ban and tell the Government to hold firm:

Every costume, every set piece, thanks to Hajnaika Bognár’s dazzling designs and Gergely Poharnok’s evocative cinematography transports the audience to a Paris that is as beautiful as it is dangerous.
Tønnesen is magnetic as Freddie, balancing charm, vulnerability, and sheer determination, while Rugaard’s showgirl is fierce, enigmatic, and a fully realised character in her own right. Schweiger and Berkoff embody power and menace in equal measure, keeping viewers on edge throughout.
This is more than a gripping thriller; it’s a deeply human story of love, survival, and moral courage. The heartbreaking decision by Freddie’s parents to separate him and his brother, a desperate bid to give them both a chance at life, resonates with contemporary urgency, reminding us of the cruelty endured by Jewish families during the Holocaust. Scenes linger in the memory, and the words that echo most are stark, yet hopeful: “The world does not need more pain, it needs to grow.”
Credit must also go to the outstanding hair and makeup team, whose work adds subtle, yet crucial authenticity to the film. Every frame feels meticulously crafted, from costume to camera, making Desperate Journey as visually stunning as it is emotionally resonant.
Whether you're into historical dramas, epic love stories, or edge-of-your-seat thrillers, Desperate Journey delivers a cinematic rollercoaster you won’t stop thinking about. This film is 100% a must-watch, even my 13-year-old daughter, who is impossible to impress, was totally glued to the screen. Her verdict? “An incredibly moving film.” And honestly… she’s right.

Two teenagers just solved one of our planet's biggest problems with a device the size of a pen. While most of us were scrolling through social media, these young innovators from Texas were revolutionizing water purification technology using nothing but sound waves. Their invention doesn't just work in theory. It removes over 90% of microplastics from contaminated water in a single pass, and it just earned them a $50,000 prize. This is the kind of breakthrough that could change millions of lives.

Every year, scientists from around the world join a unique competition called the Agar Art Contest — where the “paint” is alive.
Instead of colors from a palette, they use real bacteria grown inside petri dishes.
Each microbe creates its own natural pigment:
🟥 Serratia — bright red
🟨 Bacillus — warm yellow
🟪 Chromobacterium — deep violet
🟩 Pseudomonas — teal green
🟦 Engineered E. coli — glowing blue and neon UV colors
Using toothpicks, loops, and tiny swabs as brushes, scientists “draw” on a gel surface — and then wait.
Over the next 24–72 hours, the artwork slowly appears as the bacteria grow and the colors deepen.
The final pieces are breathtaking:
✨ Van Gogh’s Starry Night made of glowing microbes
✨ Portraits and mandalas built from living cells
✨ A peacock created with seven different bacterial species
✨ Landscapes, galaxies, trees — all alive
The best part?
After photographing the masterpiece, the art is destroyed for safety. Nothing lasts forever — not even living paintings.
