⭐ Presenting Distorted Frame's best films of the year, in the form of Liam's 2025 Letterboxd top ten and Brogan's disreputable contribution to the 2025 Sight and Sound critics' poll. Much love for Eddington and 28 Years Later (a boundary-pushing piece of of digital cinema!), while One Battle After Another is shut OUT. ⭐

Thank you to everyone who came out to one of our screenings this year - and stay tuned for new screening announcements in 2026! Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄☃️❄️🎁🔔🤶

We're pleased to announce our festive screening at The Castle Cinema as Tangerine, Anora director Sean Baker's anarchic 2015 breakout film. A kinetic LA odyssey shot entirely on smartphones, Tangerine follows trans s*x workers Sin-Dee Rella and Alexandra over an eventful day and a night before Christmas, as they scour the less glamorous side of Hollywood for Sin-Dee’s good-for-nothing boyfriend.

Join us to celebrate ten years of this darkly comic Tinseltown fairytale. 🎄
