REOPENING - We think we will get there after all - the fire safety team have got on board with us to make it happen . So we’ve some work to do and we hope to get it all done and ready for reopening around Xmas .
Changes will be subtle - mostly behind the scenes .
We’ll update in a few weeks

Thanks for all your wonderful wishes. Its wonderful knowing that we've given people an oasis from the rat race over these years. We will probably put the place on the market fairly soon I think . As a thought it could be bought and brought up to standards - for us its time to move on - if anyone else fancies discussing possibilties do email us on [email protected] ,

To all our loyal customers - we have come to the end of the road at Scootercaffe - fire safety regulations got the better of us. So we are now closed . Its been a great 22 years but all good things come to an end at some stage .
We still have our Cable Cafe in Oval which will be reopening on this coming Wednesday so I hope to see you all soon up there .
We'll be reinvorgating the Cable cafe with a menu and more live music . We might have to rename it ScooterCable .
