Another great day for KCLCC at Lee Valley Velopark today - congrats to Bernard Harrington-Vogt for his performance in the men's 3/4 race - putting out megawatts in his second race to keep up with some fast riders!
Charlotte and Will were also back in action, with Charlotte continuing to show her strength securing 2nd in the women's race and Will holding on to a chasing group to claim 5th in the men's e/1/2/3.
Chapeau all round!

Somewhere under that buff is a Totobobo mask keeping our Pres' lungs clean! Massively useful on the commute, especially with the recent reports of the air quality in London.

Another successful day in the saddle for our riders today, showing KCLCC is a force to be reckoned with!
Will worked hard in the men's E/1/2/3 to try and form a break away, eventually grinding the group down to just a few riders. One rider got a gap and the group chased valiantly, but he stayed away to claim the win, and Will managed to sprint to claim fourth.
Charlotte joined the men's 3/4 due to low turn out for the women's race, and demonstrated her strength chasing down multiple attacks before finishing with the group.
Chapeau KCLCC!
Massive congratulations to our President and Treasurer for both securing victory in the men and women's E/1/2/3 races at Lee Valley VeloPark today - an amazing way to finish off 2016!
Charlotte established dominance from the start, raising the pace to split the field before 2-upping to the line with Gem Atkinson from Sigma Sport and taking the sprint after an entire final lap on the front!
Will managed to form a break with three other riders, riding away from the field and taking a lap on the way. With 20 mins to go Will dropped off the back of the group and rode the remainder alone, until the final lap when guessing games at the front allowed him to catch back on, and one final sprint managed to clinch the win! Special mention to Thomas who rode solidly, and helped Will to jump into the break.
Chapeau all round and here's to an awesome 2017!

Being the most central university in one of the busiest cities in the world, our riders are exposed to a lot more pollution than we'd like, especially on their commute to and from work. So we're hugely grateful to Totobobo for kitting us out with some of their awesome pollution masks to keep those lungs in pristine condition. We'll be rolling these out to our commuting riders over the coming week and seeing how they get on!
