Creating a home that feels elevated doesn’t always mean spending more, it’s often the smaller details that make the biggest difference ✨
A well considered colour palette can completely change how a space feels, helping everything flow more naturally throughout the home.
Bathrooms are also one of the most overlooked spaces when it comes to styling, but thoughtful lighting, artwork, beautiful mirrors, and layered finishes can instantly make them feel more luxurious and personal.
Statement pieces are another favourite of ours. Whether it’s a sculptural vase, accent chair, or oversized lamp, those standout details often bring the most personality into a room.
And never underestimate the impact of bed styling. Layered cushions, textured throws, and quality bedding can completely transform the feel of a bedroom and make it feel far more considered and inviting.
Even everyday pieces like tableware, glassware, and coffee mugs can subtly elevate how your home feels to live in day to day.
Sometimes luxury is less about “more” and more about choosing the right details 🩷

Choosing a colour scheme is never quite as simple as picking a paint card 👀
The way colour works within a space can completely change how a room feels, which is why so much thought goes into getting it right.
From natural lighting and room proportions to materials, textures, and the way the space will actually be lived in, every decision is carefully considered to make sure the final result feels cohesive, balanced, and personal to the client.
And honestly… there’s usually a lot of sampling, reshuffling, and second guessing at the beginning too. That back and forth is all part of creating a space that truly feels right in the end ✨

A renovation should add to the story of a building, not erase it ✨
Dyer Street was a project full of history, character, and hidden potential. Originally home to significant medical research activity in the mid-20th century, the building had an incredible past that deserved to be respected throughout the transformation.
When our client approached us to convert the former commercial space into two beautifully considered Airbnb apartments, our focus was always on preserving the character of the building while creating interiors that felt warm, welcoming, and timeless.
These images capture just how much the downstairs space evolved throughout the renovation.
From restoring original features to layering in thoughtful lighting, soft furnishings, hardware, and finishes, every detail was chosen to feel cohesive and connected to the heritage of the property while still embracing modern living.
Projects like this are why we love what we do.

Let’s step inside this 3D kitchen concept 👀
One of the most exciting parts of the design process is seeing a space begin to come to life before the renovation has even started.
These visuals allow our clients to properly experience the layout, materials, lighting, and overall feel of the space long before installation day, helping every decision feel more considered and intentional.
From cabinetry colours and textures to lighting placement and flow, it’s all about creating a kitchen that not only looks beautiful, but works effortlessly for everyday living.
Watching a concept evolve from an initial idea into a fully realised space will never get old 🩷

There’s something so satisfying about seeing a design concept come to life ✨
For this bathroom project, the goal was to create a space that felt calm, characterful, and full of thoughtful detail, blending timeless finishes with a softer, more playful approach to pattern and colour.
From the very first moodboard concepts through to the final installation, every element was chosen to feel cohesive and considered. The striped green tiling brought movement and personality to the space, while the antique brass finishes and deep blue vanity added warmth and contrast.
We’re obsessed with these gorgeous tiles from Clay Brook Studio:
Wall tiles – Fellini Crema Gloss & Fellini Pianta Gloss
Floor tiles – Mozzafiato Pitigliano
Swipe through to see how the original inspiration evolved into the final design, one of those projects where the finished result felt almost identical to the vision we imagined at the very beginning 🩷
A huge shoutout to the amazing team Inndecs for bringing this transformation to life 👏

Interior design looks very glamorous on Instagram… until the supplier calls to say the one item tying the entire scheme together has suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth.
Cue the frantic sourcing, moodboard reshuffling, supplier calls, and convincing yourself that “it’s all part of the process” ✨
Truthfully though, this is such a huge part of what happens behind the scenes in interior design. Problem solving, adapting quickly, and making sure the final result still feels seamless for the client, even when things don’t quite go to plan.
And somehow… it always comes together in the end 🩷
One thing about interior designers… we notice the details 👀
The things most people don’t even think about, from lampshades and trims to styling pieces and finishing touches, are often the very things that make a space feel complete.
Our job is to think about all of those little details for you, so when you walk into the finished space, everything just feels right.
It’s not just about choosing furniture or paint colours. It’s about creating a home that feels layered, considered, and completely personal to you.
The finishing touches matter more than people realise, and honestly, they’re one of our favourite parts!

Hi, I’m Georgie, the face behind G R Design Studio 🩷
Interior design has always been more than just making spaces look beautiful to me. I love creating homes and commercial spaces that feel personal, practical, and genuinely reflective of the people using them every day.
My background in both interior design and marketing has shaped the way I approach projects, combining creativity with functionality and a strong understanding of how people experience a space.
Over the years, I’ve worked across a mix of residential, styling, and commercial projects, helping clients bring their ideas to life through thoughtful layouts, layered materials, and carefully considered details.
Whether it’s a full renovation, a hotel concept, or simply helping a client create a home that finally feels “them,” my goal is always the same, to create spaces that feel relaxed, timeless, and lived in.
