Black Codes Experiments is a techno record label founded in 2000 by the Spanish DJ and producer Cristian Varela. Over more than two decades, it has become one of the most prestigious labels in the underground techno scene, featuring renowned artists such as Regis, Mark Broom, The Advent, Ken Ishii, Takaaki Itoh, Tensal, P.E.A.R.L., and Arnaud Le Texier.

One of its recent releases is Cristian Varela’s “Ancient Arkitekts” EP (January 2025), featuring tracks such as “Psicostasia” and “Focus”.
