Chelsea Textiles was formed in 1990 to faithfully recreate antique textiles, cushions and furnishing
Chelsea Textiles is a family firm, started by Mona Perlhagen, who moved to London from New York, where she had been a fashion buyer for Bloomingdale’s. She identified a need for perfect recreations of antique embroidered fabrics and cushions, to complement traditional interiors, and set about researching and sourcing authentic materials and the world’s best craftsmen, to produce hand-embroidered fabrics of the same quality as those of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Introducing Artichoke Trellis by Neisha Crosland, a new collection of hand screen-printed fabrics embellished with hand embroidery, available in three delicate colourways.
Part of the wider Neisha Crosland collection for Chelsea Textiles, the design is inspired by her travels across Asia, with fabrics and cushions brought to life by our master craftsmen.
A Royal College of Art-trained textile designer, Neisha Crosland has received numerous awards for her fabric designs, with her work held in the V&A collection. The collaboration draws on early scarf designs and unpublished artwork inspired by trips to India and Japan, translated into beautiful hand-embroidered fabrics and cushions.
