Getting warmer and closer

September’s Sapphire birthstone. This perfect stacking ring perfectly fits with your aurora ring or any stacking set you might have. Symbolising wisdom, protection and clarity it is also the perfect wedding band.

A little but of the process. I drew the Swiss Alps large and bold with snow caped peaks to see how they continually followed the horizon. I then wrapped them around the Blue Sapphire “lake” with it’s glacial crisp deep blue. Pave diamonds were the snow and i wanted there to be a side view so you could see the depth of such an extraordinary gem.

I love looking down and knowing my grandma is close to me on my life journey.

Using my grandmas diamond i created the very first aurora ring in 2012. I decided i wanted a diamond too even though i was not married. I was also tasked with designing and alternative engagement ring for a couple and when I presented the aurora ring they swooned.

Four wonderful children later and still in marital bliss.

When it all started i was asked to design an alternative engagement ring for a couple. I then started thinking “what would I like?” Having just come out of my version of marriage i decided i wanted a diamond ring too.

I reached out to my mom to see if there were any diamonds for my brother and I and there were two! And that is when i made the first aurora ring in 2012.

I have warn it every day since and love looking down and knowing my grandma is close to me on my life journey.
