After birthday love indulgences , not quite over yet, here is raising my glass (sparkling water 🙂‍↕️) to Found them in Fulham Farmers market, and for busy weekdays, a lifeline for those who want to eat clean. Leaning more and more towards vegetarian and good karma food and gut health. I have slathered my rye slice with the fava bean spread, dolloped the aubergine hummus, chopped some olives, cooked beetroot, salad, sun-dried tomato, feta and a little sprinkle of dried edible flowers - because I like pretty things, even food. Delicious, so satisfying and the spreads were a great find to truncate lunchtime prep.

Very zen and fulfilled mother's day (Mauritian/French calendar!). Brownie points for the hubster for gearing his morning run towards Birley bakery for my breakfast in bed, and although we had a working day, he made his legendary pizza whilst I spent time chilling with the Mala (WhatsApp video) and the Fupes over a perfectly chilled glass of ABC. Added here is my niece's perfect 3 legged dog pose, what a pro ❣️I keep repeating myself, but I have lapsed over the lady couple of years, I have eaten in beautiful places and drunk beautiful wines, I'll post it all in the next few days, I never forget. Although the last two years have been one of great loss, one must never ever forget, what else should we call it, divine blessings. About last night. Getting used to hosting again.

Independence day no57, managed to make poulet croustillant and banged up some napolitaines in an hour and a half on a weekday. My son loves me again. Coupled this with a Ruinart blanc de blancs and I was toasting Mauritius.

Happy women's day!! Dedicated to my beautiful friends whose support I couldn't do without, thank you Queens! You are amazing! To the future and to a world where women rule 🙌🏽 I had a burger and triple cooked chips with a bottle of cab sav/syrah Stellenbosch blend to celebrate. Potent, delicious, lots of promise and substance, fruity, like all the women in my life, will age min another 10 years 's day

Love unexpected late champagne evenings after movie night with my comrade in arms

Feeling great, got back into cooking, baking,drinking and tasting! Promising start of the year after a disappointing end to 2024, with the hubster still scrambling to recover from this disaster of a winery he had me drag myself out of London to Dorking for, thinking this would be my cup of tea. It really wasn't, I should have stuck to tea there. I still feel like I haven't drunk enough good wines to give myself a stomach cleanse to make up for it. I may have a story later however I still shudder thinking about it at the moment, let the trauma subside and maybe I may be able to pen my first positively negative review! Highlights of 2024 were the Decanter winter tasting at the Landmark with Ipsus stealing the show, more on this later, I promise (myself) here. 2025 brought a Koshu tasting at Akira house, not mind blowing but always amazing to discover a new cépage and area! Here is to my *late* NY resolution, and not such a new one, back to wine writing!! P.S. for those not in the know, I am also running a brand new business with my husband, all to do with teeth and nothing to do with wine so sometimes let's not be surprised if I digress 😂😂
