I know I yap on and on about books on here but today I thought to introduce you to some furry pals of mine 🥰

Meet Asaahi and Singha 🐾

Asaahi is a 9 month chaotic, smiley and stubborn Japanese Akita. She makes coming home a joy with how happy she is to see me when I get back from work. Before we got Asaahi I used to be terribly afraid of dogs but she’s really changed my entire perspective 💕 (although I can’t put her anywhere near my books 😂)

Singha was my first ever pet and this gal truly has a special place in my heart! Last year I had to say goodbye to her after 17 years of pure happy memories. It’s almost been a year since she crossed the rainbow bridge but I’ll always be missing her in small ways and big 🩵 (I especially miss her when I’m reading on the sofa and she’s always used to be there too).

I’ve officially found my first five-star fantasy read of the year, and it’s Heavenly Bodies by ✨

I had a feeling I was going to love this as I’m a total sucker for the star-crossed lovers/fated mates trope. But I wasn’t prepared for just how obsessed I’d become. From the first few pages, this book had me hooked. I couldn’t put it down all weekend.

The world-building? Absolutely stunning. I loved exploring Helios and Asteria, and don’t even get me started on the prophecies, gods, fates, and that magic system. Everything was so vivid, it played out like a movie in my head.

Now, the romance chef’s kiss. Slow burn, full of tension, and absolutely bursting with chemistry. I can’t lie guys Elara and Enzo stole my heart and Imani brought back the yearning. I didn’t realize how much I’d missed that in romantasy until now.

The last 50 pages had me going through it. I was up at 4 a.m., fully unwell, sobbing over the pages and gasping at those plot twists.

So in case it isn’t clear I am fully, completely obsessed with this book..With its lush world-building, heart-stealing romance, and jaw-dropping twists, Heavenly Bodies is everything I want in a I love in romantasy. I can’t wait to see where this story goes next (Imani I am begging you to keep Enzo safe pretty please 🥺)

The biggest happy publication day to Any Trope But You by ! 🩵💕🫶🏽

This book was an utter joy to read last year and it is a complete love letter to romance readers and the romance genre too! I adored following Margot on her journey to finally believe in happily ever afters and every single trope worthy interaction she had with Forrest 🌲 There is such a nice balance between tropes, character development and absolute rom-com gold moments!

For those that know I also worked on marketing this book and it has been my first ever romance title to work on within publishing and what a joy it has been! I can’t thank the amazing influencers enough who have championed and loved this book as much as I did and the ATBY team at Zaffre

Sunday stack 📚✨

Happy Sunday friends! Today’s post is a little stack with some spredge appreciation! Honestly I love receiving my Fairyloot books in the post and just admiring all the little things that makes the book so special 😍

I can’t say I read lots in March but I finally finished Quicksilver by Callie Hart!

This week has been a busy old one for me but I have been enjoying the sunshine too! I’ve definitely been more smiley and upbeat now that spring is popping off ☀️

I’ll be reading Heavenly Bodies by Imani Erriu and I’m super excited because I’ve heard excellent things! What are you reading this week??👀

Wait what?! Is that mine and names in the acknowledgments to the paperback of Fear The Flames by ?

Yes. Yes it is! 🥹

This is the first time ever I’ve seen my name in the acknowledgments of a book and the fact it’s in a fantasy book that I adored is just all very surreal.

To top it all off Fear the Flames was actually one of my interview tasks when I applied for my role at Bonnier where I had to form a campaign. Fast forward months later that’s my name in the acknowledgements for marketing. Full circle moment! 🥹

I don’t think 16 years old me would believe what my job is today and that I get to work with amazing authors that bring stories to escape to, characters we love and quotes that inspire.
