With the metaverse and digital fashion no longer the trending topics they once were at their peak in 2021-2022, Formichetti will use his broad connections to facilitate collaboration between ‘physical’ and ‘digital’ fashion, working towards what SYKY call a ‘blended reality’.

Revelling in the constant stream of creativity offered at New York Fashion Week recently, we invited illustrator Brianna Moreno to reimagine her favourite looks by putting pen to paper to create artwork that mirrored real-life art. Musing on many of New York's A/W 24 cult brands, Moreno saw Marc Jacobs, Collina Strada and Helmut Lang as the perfect starting point for her own artistic work to take flight.

When asked why illustrate in the first place,  explained ‘illustrations can often simplify complex ideas, offering a visual language to complement and enhance understanding’. But how do you think her illustrations compare to the runway?

2023 was a big year for hip-hop. Missy Elliott and DJ Kool Herc were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Tupac Shakur was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and hip-hop celebrated its 50th anniversary.

The cultural milestone took place on 11 August as a way to celebrate how the genre has evolved since the 1970s when rhythmic poets and innovative DJs from the South Bronx unknowingly took the first steps in shaping American culture as we know it today. It’s a history that’s at the centre of Dr. Todd Boyd’s book, ‘Rapper’s Deluxe: How Hip Hop Made The World.’

‘Rapper’s Deluxe’ is Phaidon’s visual exploration of the history of hip hop and its influence on culture. We caught up with author Dr. Todd Boyd to get a rundown on the genre’s impact on art, fashion, and music. Head to the link in our bio to catch up.

We’re halfway through ’s SHOWstudio artist residence, in which he’s leading fashion illustration workshops in our gallery. Attendees have been using ink to interpret and reinterpret this A/W 16 dress. 🌺

In tonight’s workshop, will be back to model the dress as they did in this shoot for AnOther magazine, back in 2016. Whilst these workshops are sold out, you can watch along on our 24/7 studio livestream via our website.

In classic SHOWstudio fashion, we’ve searched for the most talented illustrators to reimagine this season - women’s A/W 24.

First up is Canadian artist  who works in illustration, cartooning, and textile art. Brie’s work experiments with a playful edge as she draws cartoonish figures in comic contexts.

Then we have London-based who works in a combination of drawing, printmaking and painting, unpacking a wide range of human emotion in his art.

will reimagine Milan as she embeds her unique personal experiences and narratives into her paintings, celebrating a world of people who live by their own rules. 

And finally, artist will take the reigns for Paris offering experimental art and illustrations. Watch this space.

Goodbye, dry January and hello fast-flowing February. If there was any excuse to break your New Year’s drought, it’s probably Valentine’s Day. As the consumer holiday creeps closer you can’t take two steps outside without being inundated with images of hearts and declarations of love.

Whether you’re a monogamist, polygamist, or find yourself forever single, the holiday is sure to have you pondering (in one way or another) all notions of love. Love for others, love for yourself, and most importantly love for material objects. That’s why we’ve rounded up our favourite ways fashion is celebrating Valentine’s Day this year.
