A wonderful dinner for Tata Consultancy Services - we provided full AV production for the event and support for Britain's Got Talent winner, Richard Jones (we were only a little bit starstruck 🤩). Catering was provided by Social Pantry and the beautiful venue was provided by Mansion House.

We were at the fabulous  in West London yesterday, delivering the    Investment Conference 2024. One of the key dates in the annual conference calendar, MIC brings together some of the financial industry’s top minds. We have worked on this event for many years now, and it’s always an absolute pleasure. 

Set-up included twin high resolution 5.5m  displays against a 24m branded polycanvas backdrop. Full staging, lighting, and rigging with a pair of branded polyglass lecterns.  Over 450 delegates came to hear the views and future forecasts from financial experts at the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel, London. 

The Royal Lancaster’s Nine Kings Suite provides a spectacular, pillarless venue, which can be divided into separate areas and then revealed again at the touch of a button. 

Break-out meetings were held in the venue's Beech Suite. Boasting dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows and views over Hyde Park, this quieter space provides the perfect contrast to the cavernous ballroom.

We were at the fabulous this morning, what a stunning venue it is.

Walking into this hotel feels like stepping back in time. The communal spaces are opulent, elegant and packed full of architectural style.

The Fitzroy was designed by architect Charles Fitzroy Doll, who also created the dining room on the RMS Titanic, and the similarities are evident. The hotel boasts a wealth of beautiful communal spaces, including the iconic Palm Court, the cavernous Ballroom, complete with private entrance and facilities, and Fitz's, the hotel's stunning dark-hued cocktail bar, with it's distinct Gatsby style.

Fitz's offers an intriguing 'Theory of Colour' cocktail experience. Featuring 14 uniquely crafted cocktails inspired by ‘Vase of Flowers’, a 1660 piece of art by Dutch artist, Jan Davidsz de Heem, the visitor is invited to choose a drink according which colour image holds most appeal. A brillant idea for those who find menu choices daunting, and who enjoy an element of surprise.

We had a great time at the iconic in Paris last week and thoroughly enjoyed delivering this 2-day conference for a banking client.

Breathtaking panoramic views from the iconic where we delivered a 3-day Global Metals, Mining & Steel Conference last month for one of our global investment clients.  

One of the challenges we faced with this event was to provide event and security staff with communications radios that would operate across the 7-storey glass and steel building. Our solution was a radio and repeater system to boost the signal and to ensure flawless communication between floors. Conference set-up included a single large projection screen, white dawn armchairs for the panel speakers and custom-built branded registration desks, whose modular design allowed them to be easily transported by truck and then constructed on site.  

Delegates were accommodated in two separate conference rooms with presentations broadcast to both rooms using Communications Technology.  

It was a busy week and a fantastic event which we were very proud to have been a part of. 

                         

This investment conference was an annual event run by our client to address the financial nitty and gritty. We gathered at The Langham in London, joined virtually by speakers from across the globe. The event was captured by two cameras manned by our wonderful freelance operators. First Network built a customised stage and LED wall, framed by our brand new 98" Samsung screens (everyone's near-sighted nowadays). Additional plasma screens were placed at the back fo the room in order to ensure absolute clarity of both audio and visuals for every part of the venue.

We’ve been quiet on here for a while – but behind the scenes it’s been as busy as ever. We have so much to catch up on! 

This was a 2-week event we delivered in August for one of our large Investment Management clients. The ‘Analyst Orientation Course' brought together young employees from all over the world. Three events ran concurrently in London, Asia and the US and came together via video link for key sessions. 

We ran the London event out of – a fabulous new dedicated event space at 22 Bishopsgate in the heart of the city. As well as offering 50,000 square ft of flexible event and working space, Convene also boasts state of the art functionality – including TWO internal elevators large enough to lift a fully loaded truck for easy unloading on upper floors.  There are even vehicle turntables in the basement car park. No more 3 point turns - our drivers were very happy!
