Big news: SPEAR has secured just under £1 million funding from the The National Lottery Community Fund to support our health work over the next three years. 🎉

This means we can keep delivering our Homeless Health Link Service and Health & Wellbeing Days, helping people experiencing homelessness across South West London access vital healthcare and support.

We’re proud to keep building on the impact of the last three years and continuing to support people to live healthier, more connected lives.

🚴‍♀️ 1,000 miles. 2 weeks. Solo.

Our amazing colleague Kelly is cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats — carrying all her gear and camping along the way.

She’ll average 70+ miles a day, all to raise funds for SPEAR.

If you can, please show your support: https://www.justgiving.com/page/kelly-peng-1 💚

Our incredible colleague Kelly is taking on a huge challenge 🚴‍♀️

She’s cycling nearly 1,000 miles from Land’s End to John o’ Groats — solo, carrying all her kit and camping along the way.

That’s over 70 miles a day for two weeks, with minimal training.

She’s doing it all to raise funds for SPEAR 💚

If you can, please support Kelly and help change lives: https://www.justgiving.com/page/kelly-peng-1

We spent this afternoon getting hands-on with something a little different ✨

SPEAR clients and staff took part in a kintsugi workshop, led by the brilliant and very patient Dotty by Design. Rooted in Japanese tradition, kintsugi is the art of repairing broken pottery using liquid gold - embracing imperfections rather than hiding them and recognising that something can come back even stronger after it’s been broken.

There’s something powerful in that idea - that healing doesn’t mean returning to how things were before, but creating something new, with strength and history visible.

Also, small disclaimer: I’m still trying to get the gold off my phone… 😅

Huge thank you to Claire for such a thoughtful and engaging workshop 💚

Good luck to our brilliant group of colleagues, supporters and corporate partners who are taking part in the London Walk tonight to raise funds for SPEAR. They're walking a half marathon through London - raising vital funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness.

Thank you! 💚

Some of our clients enjoyed a brilliant day out in Fulham yesterday with our Homeless Health Link team ☀️

We kicked things off with a fascinating guided tour of Fulham Palace where Lee brought the history of the site to life - from Saxon and Viking roots to the legacy of the Bishops of London, alongside the amazing community work the Palace delivers today.

After lunch, we made the most of the sunshine with a walk through Bishop’s Park before heading to Craven Cottage for a behind-the-scenes tour of Fulham FC Official ⚽. From the oldest stand in the Premier League to the (second) newest, plus the changing rooms and trophy cabinet, there was plenty to take in.

Most importantly, it was a chance to step away from routine, enjoy the fresh air, and discover the rich history right on our doorstep.
