Throwback Thursday!

New Year, office clean-out and we stumbled upon these film photos from our early days. Some old projects, our old office and some (not so) old friends!!!

There is a unique beauty in these stages of a project. Here are a few more photos of our pool house in North Devon in its raw construction state. As the pool begins to take form, the geometry and rhythm of the props as well as the honesty of the materials reveal the craft behind the architecture.

We are excited to share our recently completed project, Pember House, a former converted warehouse.

Our client approached us to renovate and tailor the property to their needs after it had been rented out. A free standing partition with a bespoke curtain and rail by creates an entrance sequence and provides privacy to the main living space.

We’d like to thank all our contractors and collaborators for their hard work and support this year. We’ve really enjoyed working with our current clients this year, and end 2024 on a high with some exciting things in the pipeline.

Next year, we will be celebrating our 35th birthday, and 2025 is already promising to be a great year for us. We have 6 projects approaching completion and look forward to sharing these with you in the new year.

We will be back in January with some progress photos from our Wimbledon development project, but until then, we hope you enjoy the festive season!

We are enjoying seeing the exposed concrete come togethe at the Pool House. Skylights will ensure natural light floods into the spaces, which will have beautiful views to the sea.

New work: the basement at Mint on Duke Street is transformed from a stock room into an extension of the shop floor and office space.

This large full width extension housed a new kitchen, dining and living area at ground level. The extension opens into the rest of the ground floor and to the rear garden, and a new large roof light helped fill the new space with light. The wedge shaped extension to the upper floors is zinc clad and sits lightly on to the existing rear elevation — its angled form allows space for a bathroom at one level and a smaller shower room above.
